It was a doubly good weekend at Brighton Speedway as a record number of race teams filled the pit area for the two-day annual Labour Day Sprint Car Classic.
It began in traditional fashion with a celebration of the new inductees to the Brighton Speedway Wall of Fame.
They were Lou and Diane Rinaldi, the longest running promoters in the lengthy history of Brighton Speedway,
Marshall Thompson who was inducted as the first track photographer in speedway history and Clayton Pederson. He raced in the 1980s and ’90s in the number 20 street stock.
