Belleville police responded to 86 calls for service over a 24-hour period from 5 a.m. on August 31, 2023 to 5 a.m. on September 1, 2023.
Arrested on Warrants
On August 31, 2023 at 11:25 a.m., an officer was on routine patrol in the city’s east end when they observed a male known to them who had an outstanding warrant for arrest. As a result, Martin More, 38-years-old of Brampton was arrested on the strength of the warrants for failing to comply with a probation order x 2 and failing to comply with a release order. More was transported to the Belleville Police Service and held for bail.
