The City of Belleville has announced that the Kinsmen Pool will be closing for the summer season on September 4.
According to the city, there were more than 5,500 participants at the pool.
As well as recreational swims, the pool hosted swims for the city’s summer camps, birthday parties, and the Belleville Beast Swim Team.
Beginning on September 18, residents can use the Templeman Aquatic Centre pool located at the Quinte Sports & Wellness Centre.
The city’s splash pads at Riverside, Parkdale and Kinsmen Parks remain open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekends (weather permitting).
The last day of operation for the splash pads will be October 9.
