Ontario Provincial Police are conducting training in Prince Edward County Thursday, August 17.
The immediate rapid deployment training will train officers to respond to active threats in the community. By doing so, officers will be better equipped to protect the community they serve.
The OPP say they are fully committed to public safety, and continued training is key to keep our communities safe and Ontario secure.
Residents may notice an increased police presence around the training location.
