Due to high winds in the upcoming weather forecast, Prince Edward County is issuing a partial burn ban to take effect at 12 a.m. on Friday.
Partial burn bans limit burning to small campfires or containers with a screened top. BBQs and other propane fueled appliances are exempt.
The ban will be lifted when conditions improve and the risk of fire is reduced.
