Nicholas Blagojevic a local tenpin Quinte bowler, competed in the Tenpin Youth Pan Am Games held in Lima, Peru earlier this month.
Youth Team Canada consisted of four boys and four girls and they competed in their respective divisions.
Blagojevic managed to bring home a bronze medal in doubles with his teammate Mathis Blanchette, a bronze in trios with his teammates Mathis Blanchette and Jacob Imoo, and the whole team grabbed a silver medal.
Nicholas was thrilled to end his youth career with such a great accomplishment. He hopes to make Adult Team Canada moving forward at the next trials early in the new year.
For now he will be back at school (McKendree University in Lebanon Illinois) to bowl collegiate for his senior year.

We had another local bowler attend on the girls’ team.
Karley Mason had a great showing for her first time being on Youth Team Canada.
The girls managed to take home a bronze medal in the trios event.
Karley will be heading back to the University of St. Francis to bowl in her junior year.
