The Wellington Dukes and Trenton Golden Hawks continue to make a number of moves ahead of the 2023-24 season.
For the Dukes, they are keeping it in the family with Ben Vreugdenhil. He is a cousin of former Dukes Captain Jacob Vreugdenhil.
Ben last played with the Quinte U18 Red Devils and is a native of Frankford.

Jack Lisson has been inked as well. The Oakville native is a goaltender out of the Ridley College Prep School and played his AAA in Oakville

Colin Smith is coming from the southwestern Ontario Junior B loop. The 19-year-old defenceman from Etobicoke played with Pelham and Caledonia last year.

Haydem Pimm joines the Dukes out of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League. Pimm was with the Swan Valley Stampeders and a native of Kamloops.

The Golden Hawks have acquired Adam Matar from the Elliot Lake Red Wings
The Aurora native is 17 and an OHL draft pick of the Flint Firebireds.

Meantime, Duncan Grube has been shifted to the Stouffville Spirit.
He had 16 points last season and an additional six points in the Hawks’ run to the OJHL Championship series.
