Ashton McCulloch of Bath, east of Belleville, shot a final round 70 to win the 118th Canadian Men’s Amateur Golf Championship by five shots.
McCulloch was the only player in the field to shoot under par all four days of the tournament at The Pulpit Club in Caledon.
The win gives McCulloch a spot at the 2024 RBC Canadian Open at Hamilton Golf and Country Club.
Bloomfield’s Cameron Pero missed the cut by one shot.
Pero recently won the Ontario Amateur Golf Championship at Black Bear Ridge.
