A quick response by a Belleville police officer Thursday quite possibly saved a baby’s life.
Around 3 o’clock in the afternoon police received a 911 call about a parent accidentally locking an
infant inside a car after loading groceries.
An officer arrived and shattered the car’s window and managed to pull the baby to safety.
Paramedics checked the infant’s condition and all was well, however, officer suffered minor cuts due to
the shattered window glass.
