The number two field at Mary Ann Sills Park will be closed for most of August for turf replacement.
Work is set to begin on August 7.
Part of the park, south of the field and part of the parking lot, will be fenced off during this time for equipment access and storage.
There will be a high volume of truck and trailer activity during the first week as new turf is delivered and the old turf is removed.
Residents are asked to keep out of the fenced off work area for their safety and the safety of the workers.
