Belleville police responded to 81 calls for service over a 24-hour period from 5 a.m. on August 1, 2023 to 5 a.m. on August 2, 2023.
Mischief
On August 1, 2023, at 8:09 a.m., police attended a business on College St. West regarding mischief to the business. Upon arrival, police spoke with staff and learned that sometime overnight unknown persons had smashed two windows to the business, however, they did not gain entry into the business.
