RUNNING ON EMPTY is the Community Development Council Quinte’s summer fundraiser geared to getting food to people in need. Grocery bills are climbing with increasing speed and many families are facing empty cupboards.
With gas prices, along with rentals, insurance and other fees required to run our programs, our delivery trucks are also facing a high-octane race to nowhere. Our programs and their delivery services are the only way that some of our participants can access nutritious, healthy food.
And if our tanks go dry, so will theirs.
Help us fill up our trucks and the bellies of those who are counting on the Good Food Box and the Good Baby Box Programs by donating to the RUNNING ON EMPTY campaign today. What Your Donation Can Do: •$120 provides Good Food Bag to a family each month for a year •$500 provides a weekly supply of diapers and wipes for a baby for one year.
