An injured canoeist is safe and sound after a rescue para jump just north of Hurst.
The Trenton Joint Rescue Coordination Centre has announced that four search and rescue technicians from 424 squadron jumped from a Hercules plane to locate the injured canoeist and help prepare them for transport by helicopter to a waiting ambulance.
This was the first search and rescue para jump made from a Hercules plane.
