In response to this week’s weather forecast, the Quinte West cooling centre is open today, July 26, until July 28, at the Duncan McDonald Memorial Arena.
When: Wednesday, July 26 – Friday, July 28, 2023. Open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Duncan McDonald Memorial Community Gardens, 8 Couch Cres., Trenton, ON.
The City of Quinte West activates a cooling centre at the Duncan McDonald Memorial Arena in Trenton when there are two consecutive days of temperatures of 31 degrees or higher or humidex values of 35 degrees Celsius or higher.
Splash pads are also open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. in both Trenton and Frankford.
