A substantial quantity of cocaine and fentanyl was seized in a drug trafficking investigation by Quinte West OPP.
Tuesday night around 9 p.m., the OPP Community Street Crime Unit, assisted by the OPP Emergency Response Team executed a search warrant at a residence on George Street in Trenton, as well as on a vehicle that was located on Roseland Drive, Quinte West.
Four people were arrested.
Facing two charges each of possession for the purpose of trafficking are Zack Dixon and Andreal Pelrine, both 27 years of age and from Quinte West, 33-year-old Michael Stacey of Brighton and 34-year-old Brooke Gignac of Belleville.
Stacey and Gignac also each face a charge of fail to comply with a release order.
Dixon was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
The other three accused were held for a bail hearing.
