The body of a 27-year-old Scarborough man was pulled from the Trent River near Ranney Falls in Campbellford on Saturday evening.
A man was seen jumping into the river around 5:30 and reports indicate he seemed in distress.
A search was launched by members of the Trent Hills Fire Department and they located his body two hours later near where he’d entered the water.
The OPP and a coroner were on scene for an investigation.
