The boil water advisory in effect for Trenton residents living west of the Trent River has been officially ended.
The Municipality of Quinte West reports all water tests in the affected area over the last 48 hours meet or exceed the provincial water standards.
All affected Trenton Water Service customers west of the Trent River in Trenton, Murray Ward customers, and customers in Carrying Place, Prince Edward Estates, Kingfisher Cove and the Carrying Place/Consecon Water Distribution System in Prince Edward County may resume normal use of the drinking water supply.
The Boil Water Advisory went into effect on Tuesday, July 18, at 5:00 a.m. in response to emergency water main repair work. Temporary repair work continues on the water main.
