The Ontario Junior Hockey League has released its schedule for the 2023-2024 season.
Opening begins on Thursday, September 7.
The Trenton Golden Hawks and the Wellington Dukes will kick off their seasons at home on Friday, September 8.
The Golden Hawks will be at the Duncan McDonald Memorial Gardens to take on the Cobourg Cougars while the Dukes start their season at Lehigh Arena as they take on the Toronto Jr. Canadiens.
The regular season will end on March 8.
This season also marks the return of the Buffalo Jr. Sabres after a three-year absence plus the inclusion of two expansion teams, the Leamington Flyers and Niagara Falls Canucks.
Other highlights in the schedule include the Trenton Golden Hawks hosting the Eastern Canada Cup from November 13-15. The event is part of the identification and evaluation process for the Team Canada East team that will compete in the 2023 World Jr. A Challenge tournament.
