There was a frightening situation last Saturday at the popular Prince Edward County tourist destination Lake on the Mountain Provincial Park.
Around 9 o’clock in the morning a pickup truck ended up being driven over the cliff on the Glenora Ferry side.
Luckily it did not go completely off the cliff which would have meant a long fall into the Bay of Quinte.
County firefighters managed to secure the truck and get the driver out.
An 88-year-old driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
