The City of Quinte West says the D.J. MacDonald Bridge will be closed on the morning of Friday, July 21 as part of emergency repairs of the water main in Trenton.
Dixon Drive from Marmora/West Street to Front Street will also be closed as part of the repairs.
The closure will begin on Friday at 7 a.m. and continue until 1 p.m.
Access to the OPP station will remain accessible at the intersection of Ontario Street and Meyers Street.
There will be detour routes in the impacted area.
The sidewalk on the north side of the bridge will be unavailable during the closure and will remain closed until construction is complete.
