The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Commission has made a first quarter payment totalling $873,010 to the City of Belleville.
The first quarter encompasses April 1 to June 30.
“Host communities support important community programs and services and strengthen their local infrastructure with these gaming revenues,” said Ontario’s Minister of Finance, Peter Bethlenfalvy, in a release.
“These financial supports help fund the vital programs and services that residents can depend on for their future.”
Since the casino opened in Belleville in 2017, the city has received a total of $16,418,020.
