Quinte Conservation is organizing an event to fight against invasive species and to learn about the importance of native plants in maintaining biodiversity.
The event takes place on Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at South Foster Park.
The team will be removing invasive species, planting native species, and restoring natural ecosystems.
No registration is required but participants are asked to wear closed-toe shoes and work gloves.
