One person has been charged in connection with two road rage incidents in Quinte West.
OPP responded to a call on Wallbridge Road around 3 o’clock Friday afternoon where a driver reported being blocked by another vehicle, forcing him to stop in a live lane of traffic.
Once stopped, the driver was confronted about his driving by the other motorist and his vehicle was punched several times causing damage.
Police allege the accused was involved in another incident on July 9 when a different driver travelling on Vermilyea Road was forced to stop and was confronted by the same person.
Investigation led to arrest of 23-year-old Matthew Genereaux of Quinte West on two charges of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and one count of mischief to property.
The accused is scheduled to appear in a Belleville court on August 17.
