The Canadian Association for Suicide Prevention has rolled out a moving billboard during an event on Thursday in West Zwick’s Park.
The 53′ long truck, prepared in partnership with Big Rig Wraps and LMB Transport, is designed to raise awareness for the association’s efforts to prevent suicide.
The event was attended by many people, including Belleville Councillor Chris Malette, Robyn Brown of LMB Transport, and Sean Krausert, the executive director of CASP.
Every year, approximately 4,500 people in Canada die by suicide, or 12 people per day.
