The City of Belleville will be hosting a Public Information Centre to provide members of the public with information and gain feedback on speed humps being installed on Yeomans Street from Catharine Street to Moira Street.
WHAT: Yeomans Street Traffic Calming Pilot Project Public Information Centre
WHEN: Wednesday, July 26 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 5:30 to 7 p.m.
WHERE: Sir Mackenzie Bowell Room, 3rd floor, City Hall, 169 Front St.
This is part of a pilot project that aims to collect data and determine the effectiveness of traffic calming measures within the city. The speed humps will be installed in early August and removed by Nov. 1.
There will be no formal presentations, allowing members of the public to attend at their convenience during either of the sessions to view the display materials and ask staff questions. Following the meeting, all display materials will be made available online on the Public Consultation Centre webpage.
