The following was sent by the City of Belleville.
The city would like to remind residents who are doing work on their driveways or are having contractors do the work on their behalf, that a Road Cut Permit/Occupancy Permit is required while working on the city’s portion of their driveway. Permits can be obtained by contacting Transportation & Operations Services at 613-967-3275.
Residents should also ensure their contractors are following proper asphalt techniques, following best practices and are using adequate safety equipment.
