The Parade of Nations kicks off the annual Belleville Waterfont and Multicultural Festival Thursday.
From Thursday through Sunday, West Zwick’s Park will come alive with music, buskers, dancers, a marketplace and of course, the Multicultural Food Village featuring mouthwatering cuisine from 14 different countries.
This year the event also welcomes the Jalgua Peace Festival, a Truth & Reconcili-action initiative presented by the Quinte Cultural Innovation Committee in partnership with globally recognized peace activist, recording artist, actor, author, and entrepreneur, Emmanuel Jal.
The parade of nations begins at 5 p.m. Thursday.
