RCMP officers, OPP officers from both the Quinte West and Prince Edward County detachments and Provincial Park Wardens have joined forces to patrol the waters of the Quinte region over the Canada Day long weekend.
Authorities have laid numerous charges against boaters including not enough lifejackets, missing safety equipment, and alcohol on the water.
Those patrols will continue.
