The Quinte West OPP has laid charges in an impaired motor vehicle collision investigation.
On July 1, 2023, at approximately 9 p.m., officers responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Airport Road, Quinte West. The driver fled the scene prior to police arrival and the OPP’s Canine Unit was dispatched to assist in a search. The driver was located and arrest.
Alexander Hull, 28 years old from Picton, has been c harged with the following offences:
- Operation while impaired – alcohol or drugs
- Refusal to comply with breath demand
- Fail to stop after accident
- Operation while prohibited – three counts
- Fail to comply with probation order – two counts
- Fail to comply with undertaking
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville.
