A Prince Edward County man is facing charges after a car wreck on Tuesday.
Prince Edward County OPP responded to a call for a car accident at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday night. Officers were able to find the car, but the driver had left the area.
The driver was found a short distance away, and arrested.
Sixty-five-year old David Lewis faces charges including operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs, along with operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration.
The accused was released with a court date of August 2. His driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and his car impounded for seven days.
