Bloomfield’s Cameron Pero shot a tournament best score of 7 under par 65 to take the lead after Round 3 of the Ontario Men’s Amateur Golf Championship being held at Black Bear Ridge Golf Resort in Belleville.
Pero began the day with a five shot lead over Garrett Rank of the Westmount Golf and Country Club. He’s 11 under 205 through 54 holes.
Cameron’s father, Mike Pero won the Ontario Men’s Amateur in 1989.
