Centre Hastings deferred a request for funding to the Back the Cat campaign to the 2024 budget.
Council received a presentation from the chair of the Back the Cat campaign Kim Bishop and QHC North Hastings Hospital Site Lead Tammy Davis asking for $15,000 for the campaign.
Back the Cat is calling for donations to help bring a CT Scanner to North Hastings Hospital.
The campaign is looking to raise $2.5 million.
