Quinte West OPP have made an arrest in connection with a fail to remain at vehicle investigation.
Police responded to the area of Marmora and College streets in Trenton around 9:45 p.m. on June 7 on a report of a vehicle striking a pedestrian and leaving the area.
The victim suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a Kingston hospital for medical treatment.
After an investigation, an arrest was made.
Fifty-four-year-old Timothy Gould of Belleville was charged with the following:
- Failure to stop after an accident
- Failure to stop at an accident resulting in bodily harm
- Public mischief
- Careless driving
The accused was released and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on July 13, 2023.
