The latest report indicates that long term care homes in Hastings County are free of the COVID-19 outbreak.
Director Erin Chapman reported at a meeting of the Long Term Care Committee on Wednesday.
Chapman says recruitment for new staff continues, and it’s daily work for both homes, Hastings Manor in Belleville and Hastings Centennial Manor in Bancroft.
She says that, since it is near college graduation time, she expects to see an increase in applications.
