On the heels of the girls OFSAA A/AA Rugby Championship, the boys tournament got underway Thursday at Mary Anne Sills Park.
COSSA champion Adam Scott Secondary School of Peterborough is the top seed in the 12-team tournament while the Centennial Chargers are ranked seventh.
The Chargers dropped their first game Thursday morning, 27-24 to Great Lakes.
Centennial faces Crescent School at 4:30.
The boys tournament continues until Saturday.
St. Mary Secondary School from Cobourg won the girls championship Wednesday with a 14-5 victory over Peterborough’s Holy Cross.
