Filming began in Belleville Tuesday for an episode of Murdoch Mysteries.
City Hall was transformed in the front as Rochester Police Station and the back as Rochester Train Station.
Horse buggies and classic vehicles could be seen being driven on the set.
Actors in period pieces set in the early 1900s could also be seen.
A large crowd of people were seen outside the building to witness the filming as crew members helped guide traffic along the way.
There are some slight delays in services at City Hall, however, the function of the building remains the same.
There are accessible parking changes, with one space on the north side of McAnnanny Street by Scotiabank. The other is the north side of Market Square by the councillors’ spaces.
The film crew will make a pit stop at Glanmore National Historic Site on Wednesday before heading back to City Hall to continue filming on Thursday.
