There is a bike helmet giveaway this weekend.
On Saturday at the Children’s Safety Village at South John Street behind the old police station, a number of community businesses are sponsoring a free bicycle helmet giveaway.
Bonn Law has purchased 250 helmets through Doug’s Bicycle.
The two companies, with the Brain Injury Association Quinte District are working together, to assist with proper fitting as well
Kris Bonn of Bonn Law says in 2022 150 helmets were handed out in less than two hours.
It begins at 9:00 a.m. and will go until the helmets are gone.
