Quinte West OPP have laid weapons charges after a weapons call.
Police responded to Fraser Park in Trenton around 5 p.m. on Monday on a report of a person brandishing a knife.
An investigation lead to an arrest.
Sixty-year-old Jeffrey Millar of Trenton was charged with the following:
- Assault with a weapon
- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
The accused was released and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on June 29.
