There was a residential fire in Wellington Sunday night.
Prince Edward County firefighters responded to a Main Street residence around 8:30 to find flames at the rear of the house.
Two vehicles parked nearby were also involved.
Luckily the house backed right onto the Wellington Fire Station so response was very quick.
Firefighters from three stations fought the fire for several hours before leaving the scene.
No one was injured and damage is estimated at half a million dollars.
The cause remains under investigation.
