CAA Arena is playing host to the 15th annual Volunteer and Information Quinte “Dancing With the Stars Quinte.”
It goes Friday evening starting at 7:30 p.m.
Organizer Tracey Legault-Davis says this is VIQ’s largest annual fundraiser.
Audio Player“If we do not have this fundraiser, we don’t exist. Providing the volunteers to all the agencies that rely on them, we wouldn’t be here. The information we provide to the community, as well as some of the programming in the high schools, various programming to seniors.”

Set has begun at CAA Arena
Legault-Davis says this is their first time back at CAA Arena since the pandemic.
Audio Player“It is going to be such as great night. The dance teams have put in hours of practice. Family friendly, friends can come out, canteens will be open, the beer and the wine is there if you’re looking to have a drink. It’s so heartwarming to see these people step out of their comfort zones and put so much effort into it.”
CJBQ’s Carson Arthur is competing in this year’s competition.
