A large house was destroyed by fire north of Castleton in Cramahe Township Sunday afternoon.
According to Today’s Northumberland, flames started in the garage of a home on Dawson Road near the
border with Trent Hills around 1 o’clock.
Responding were Cramahe Township, Brighton, Trent Hills and Alnwick-Haldimand fire departments.
No one was injured but a dog was reported to be missing.
The cause is under investigation.
