Linda Blanchette is awarded a coin by the MFRC for her contribution. Her son surprises her at the gala
Volunteer Linda Blanchette was honoured with a commemorative coin for her tremendous work for the MFRC.
As an added bonus her son travelled in to surprise her with the honour.
Executive Director Tamara Kleinschmidt says the hope was to raise about $70,000, but it went much higher than that.
Just under $93,000 was collected from the evening, to support programs run by the Military Family Resource Centre
