Five local students are headed to the Canada-wide Science Fair in Edmonton.
They’ll be among 500 participants from schools across Canada, all vying for a chance to win top honours and recognition for their scientific achievements.
From developing cutting-edge technologies to designing innovative studies, these young scientists have devoted countless hours to their projects.
Isabella Caldas and Ella James from Albert College, Catriona Currie from Nicholson Catholic College, Eastside Secondary School’s Nina Graciano and Centennial’s Cameron Chisholm will compete in the prestigious event being held May 14 – 19.
