Break and enter charges have been laid in a police investigation from Sunday.
Around 8:10 a.m., officers were called to a North Front Street apartment building for a break and enter.
Officers found damage at a break-in point and damage in other parts of the building.
After looking at security footage, they were able to identify a suspect and then locate the person about one hour later at the intersection of Pinnacle and Station Street.
The 37-year-old Belleville man has been arrested and charged with possession of stolen property and break and enter.
