It was a rainy ending to the month of April.
According to Environment Canada and readings taken at CFB Trenton we received 28.2 mm of rain Sunday in the Quinte region.
That was a little over 5 mm short of a record for an April 30, with that mark being set in 1996 when 33.6 mm fell.
The Saturday/Sunday rainfall total was 44.1 mm, or one and three quarter inches.
