A woman had to be treated for injuries at Belleville General Hospital after a home invasion late Wednesday night in the city’s west end.
Belleville police arrived at the home around 11 o’clock and were told two men had fled the scene.
One suspect was arrested shortly afterward but a search by the Emergency Response and K9 units for the second suspect was unsuccessful.
The man charged with several offences was 29 years of age and from Toronto.
