Prince Edward County is promoting its first ever large item swap on Saturday.
The swap hopes to encourage residents to re-use items rather than throwing them out.
Residents in Prince Edward County are encouraged to place their lightly used large items at the curb for other residents to take and continue to use.
Large items can include furniture, electronics, tools, etc.
Residents in rural areas can post their items and locations at the County’s Facebook event page.
Items must be removed the next day if they are not claimed.
