The Trenton Golden Hawks have work to do to solve the Collingwood Blues but first they’ll have to solve their goaltender Noah Pak.
The 20-year-old Oakville native stopped 26 shots to backstop the Blues to a 2-0 victory over the visiting Golden Hawks in Game 1 of the OJHL championship series.
It was Pak’s second straight shutout and third of the playoffs where he’s rocking a 1.36 goals against average and .948 save percentage.
Trenton forward Jack Natyshak saw positives in the game.
Golden Hawks forward Ryan Holmes says they need more consistency in their play.
Game 2 is in Trenton Saturday night at 7:30 at the Dunc McDonald Community Gardens.
