Two graduates of the Quinte Red Devils AAA program have landed on NHL’s Central Scouting final draft list.
Cobourg native Ethan Miedema is slotted in the 50th spot.
The 6’3″ 180 pound left winger split the OHL season between the Windsor Spitfires and Kingston Frontenacs scoring 20 goals and 32 assists in 68 games.
Defenceman Donovan McCoy of Belleville is ranked 173rd.
The 6’1″ 200 pound rearguard scored two goals and 11 assists for the Peterborough Petes.
McCoy was the 15th overall selection by the Petes in the 2020 OHL entry draft.
The NHL draft will be held June 28 and 29 in Nashville Tennessee.
