Belleville police responded to 85 calls for service over the period from 5 a.m. on April 13, 2023 to 5 a.m. on April 14, 2023.
Attempted Commercial Break-in
Unknown suspects attempted to enter a business in the area of Maitland Drive and Farnham Road overnight. Shortly after 1 a.m. Friday, suspects smashed a window of the establishment, however left without gaining entry.

Stolen phone
Officers responded to a business on Charlotte Street around 1 p.m. Thursday for a report of a theft. According to employees at the location, an unknown suspect entered the premises and stole a cell phone. There are currently no suspects.
Theft
Shortly before 3 p.m. Thursday, police attended an address on South Front Street in relation to a theft. An unknown suspect entered a shed and stole a number of spray-paint cans. There are currently no suspects.
Police would also like to remind the public of an opportunity to partner with police through the CAMSafe program. Residents, businesses and industry can register the locations of their video cameras and doorbell cameras at no cost.
